On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September, in association with the British Army supporting Education, Longleat will play host to a celebration to our exceptional Armed Forces.
Alongside an impressive display of armoured combat vehicles will be interactive demonstrations, displays and musical processions.
Not only will you be able to get up close and personal with huge machines, there will also be the chance to get stuck in with interactive workshops using kits such as virtual reality headsets - as well as learning about some of the key skills needed when serving the country. You will also see a military band performing a number of musical performances across the grounds and Main Square - a spectacle not to be missed!
Another feature, planned for twilight is set to be a spectacular glow-lit parachute display. The Parachutists will jump in formation giving a dramatic and glowing display of their capability before setting down at the front of Longleat House.
This September, Longleat's spectacular Sky Safari is returning. Over the course of the three day event over 150 balloons of all shapes, sizes and colours will be taking to the skies above Longleat. You’ll get breath-taking views (and pictures) during our mass launches and tethered displays.
Back by popular demand – Night Glows! On both Friday 14th and Saturday 15th a selection of balloons will light up Longleat – firing their burners to an amazing musical soundtrack.
