Hidden Wood Glamping is a family run glamping site located near the owners shepherds hut building company (Heavens gate shepherds huts). Ed and Carleen set about creating luxury, private pod accommodation which is the ultimate in contryside living, cosy yet comfortable, romantic but child proof and suitable for year-round breaks. Dominated by a giant Oak tree and surrounded by untouched woodland, It really is a unique and personal glamping experience, perfect for families and couples looking for complete privacy.
We like to think our facilities are are well thought out and of a high standard. You will find everything you need for a relaxing break including the added benefits of a Fire Pit, BBQ, wood fired Hot Tub, Parking and Hammocks. You'll be pleased to hear we also provide linen, towels (when covid is under control)and general kitchen and bathroom products. We just ask you bring your food and drink and pre book any wood and BBQ packs if you intend on using these facilities.

Hidden Wood Glamping islocated in the middle of two market towns, Frome and Warminster. Frome is Highlighted as one of the Times “Best Places to Live in Britain”, It's a welcoming, and vibrant place to visit. Packed to the rafters with historic buildings, beautiful independent shops and creative people, Frome is a wonderfully eventful town. It is the perfect destination for discerning tourists looking for something just a little bit different on visits to Somerset.
Warminster (4.4 miles) lies on the edge of the Cranborne Chase and West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Warminster has many historic attractions including Warminster Maltings, Britain’s oldest working maltings, and Dents glove factory. Founded in 1777, Dents has been supplying gloves for royalty since the reign of George III, including Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation gloves.
We are surrounded by wonderful places to visit including Longleat, the UNESCO Work Heritage site of Stonehenge. Stourhead House and Gardens, The Roman Baths, and Somerset Lavender Farms.
